Wendy Christensen, APRN, is a caring and conscientious advanced practice nurse practitioner at Dynamic Health & Wellness Center in Tampa, Florida. She is dedicated to serving the people of Tampa and surrounding communities with holistic and integrative care.
Mrs. Christensen is a registered nurse of 25 years with a strong background in a variety of clinical settings. Her vast knowledge of therapeutic interventions and collaborative treatment processes makes her an excellent care provider and patient advocate. Supportive of patients and their families, she focuses on helping individuals repair their health and build wellness.
Mrs. Christensen understands the strong connection between mind and body. She recognizes that the road to true, complete, and sustainable wellness is dependent on the medical management of a person’s physical and mental well-being.
Education has always been of great importance to Mrs. Christensen. She began her studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and continued to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where she earned her bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
She furthered her studies at the University of Tampa and achieved her master of science in nursing (MSN), family nurse practitioner (FNP), and APRN-C.
As a licensed APRN-C and FNP, Mrs. Christensen provides counseling and recommendations regarding wellness and healthy lifestyles. With experience as a PACU relief nurse at Florida Hospital Tampa, she cared for critically acute patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic procedures.
As an agency nurse at D&L Critical Care Staffing, she worked in various critical care settings, including the ICU and ER at Bayfront Medical Center. Mrs. Christensen also managed the Cardiac Cath Lab Holding patients at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
